Euclid can finally bid farewell to their 16-game losing streak dating back to last season thanks to their game on Friday. They blew past the Garrett Morgan Falcons 44-22. The Panthers' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Despite the loss, Garrett Morgan saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Anylaih Moore dropped a double-double on ten points and 13 rebounds. Moore has been hot for a while, having posted eight or more rebounds the last ten times she's played.

Euclid's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-11. As for Garrett Morgan, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-7.

Euclid didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 51-36 loss against Cleveland Heights on the 11th. As for Garrett Morgan, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 42-33 victory against Valley Forge on the 13th.
