Basketball Recap: John Marshall Skates Past Central Woodstock with Ease

John Marshall had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They really took it to the Central Woodstock Falcons for the full four quarters, racking up a 97-46 victory. The Justices have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 15 matchups by 20 points or more this season.

John Marshall's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Latrell Allmond, who shot 79% from the field to rack up 25 points and three steals. The game was Allmond's 17th in a row with at least 15 points. Another player making a difference was Troy Henderson, who went 7-for-12 en route to 20 points and seven assists.

John Marshall was working as a unit and finished the game with 28 assists. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now racked up at least 22 assists in five consecutive contests.

John Marshall's victory was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 23-2. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 43 points. As for Central Woodstock, their loss ended a 12-game streak of away wins and brought them to 24-5.

John Marshall wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 104-53 win against Luray on the 7th. Central Woodstock does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
