Basketball Recap: Rawlins Takes a Loss

Rawlins played a tough matchup on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They had to suffer through a 68-33 loss at the hands of the Douglas Bearcats. The Outlaws have struggled against the Bearcats recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Despite the loss, Rawlins still got an impressive performance from Damien Vialpando, who went 6 for 12 on his way to 15 points.

Rawlins' defeat dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Douglas, the win was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-4.

Looking ahead, Rawlins will be playing in front of their home fans against Burns at 7:00 p.m. on February 14th. Douglas has already played their next game (against Newcastle), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
