Soccer Recap: Indian Creek Takes a Loss

Indian Creek's game on Thursday was all tied up 1-1 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Shelbyville Golden Bears. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Indian Creek of the 6-3 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2024.

Their goal came courtesy of Logan Jackson, who's now up to six this season.

This is the second loss in a row for Indian Creek and nudges their season record down to 2-2. As for Shelbyville, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Indian Creek will welcome Speedway at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday. As for Shelbyville, they will look to defend their home pitch on Saturday against Mooresville at 10:00 a.m.
