Volleyball Recap: Whitehall Zephyrs vs. Parkland Trojans

Whitehall was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They came up short against the Parkland Trojans, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Trojans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 back in September.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-18, 25-13.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Parkland to victory, but perhaps none more so than Zoey Leach, who had 11 digs and three aces. That's the most aces Leach has posted over her last eight matchups. Another player making a difference was Josee Kim, who had 12 digs and one assist.

Whitehall's defeat dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Parkland, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-6-1 record this season.

Whitehall will be playing in front of their home fans against William Allen at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Parkland, they will head out on the road to challenge Bishop Shanahan at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
