Recap: LaBrae Vikings vs. Crestview Rebels
If The LaBrae Vikings were riding high off their 37-0 takedown of the Memorial Red Devils last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. LaBrae was the victim of a rough 28-7 defeat at the hands of Crestview on Friday. Having soared to a lofty 37 points in the game before, LaBrae couldn't push the score so high this time.
Maxwell Hawkins had a dynamite game for Crestview, rushing for 218 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 9.1 yards per carry. Mikey Proctor and his 103 yards on the ground were also a key factor in Crestview's win.
LaBrae's loss dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Crestview, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a massive bump to their 5-5 record this season.
LaBrae does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Crestview will head out on the road to face off against Pymatuning Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Pymatuning Valley is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
