Softball Recap: Pittsfield Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Pittsfield's offense. They fell 4-0 to the South Hadley Tigers on Tuesday. The Generals just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Pittsfield's loss dropped their record down to 6-10. As for South Hadley, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pittsfield will challenge Mount Greylock Regional at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Generals' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Mounties have averaged an impressive 6.7 runs per game this season. As for South Hadley, they will face off against Turners Falls at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
