Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Inglewood). They claimed a resounding 54-21 victory over the Pacifica Tritons on the road. The result was nothing new for the Sentinels, who have now won four matchups by 21 points or more so far this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Inglewood to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kingston Tisdell, who threw for 343 yards and three touchdowns while completing 81.8% of his passes. Another player making a difference was Austyn Tillman, who rushed for 94 yards and two touchdowns.

On the other side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Inglewood's defense and their seven sacks. Pacifica's QB won't forget Williams Wright anytime soon given he sacked him twice. Another thorn in Pacifica's side was Venilaite Wolfgramm Iii, who picked up a sack and made 11 total tackles (3.0 for loss).

Pacifica's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Savion Taylor, who picked up 57 receiving yards and two touchdowns.

The win for Inglewood keeps them at an undefeated 5-0. As for Pacifica, their loss dropped their record down to 3-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Inglewood will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Leuzinger at 7:00 p.m. on October 4th. After each having a week off, Pacifica and Oaks Christian will shake off the cobwebs and square off against one another at 7:00 p.m. on October 4th.
