Volleyball Recap: Moscow Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Moscow lost against Coeur d'Alene back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Bears lost 3-0 to the Vikings. The Bears have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-13, 25-21.

Ella Young paced Moscow's offense, picking up eight kills. Young got some help from Allison Dorigo and her 18 assists. Finally, Cate Gloeckner kept Moscow's defense grounded, leading the team with three blocks.

Coeur d'Alene got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Embree Mckeown out in front who had 13 digs. The team also got some help courtesy of Bridget Maiani, who had 12 digs.

Moscow now has a losing record of 11-12. As for Coeur d'Alene, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 20-3.

Moscow didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Pullman on the 13th. As for Coeur d'Alene, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-2 victory against Lewis & Clark on the 14th.
