Basketball Recap: Logan Comes Up Short

Logan played a tough contest on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were beaten by the Weber Warriors 74-47. The Grizzlies were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Warriors apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January of 2024.

Logan's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Reed Olsen, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and ten rebounds, and Ethan Woolley, who went 6 of 11 on his way to 15 points. Olsen has been hot recently, having posted ten or more boards the last four times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Grayden Olsen, who posted seven points.

Logan's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Weber, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Logan will square off against West Field at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Weber, they will take on Farmington at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Weber's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
