Meanwhile, Maine Central Institute ended up a good deal behind Winslow on Thursday and lost 54-37. The Huskies haven't had much luck with the Black Raiders recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.

Maine Central Institute's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Maranacook, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Maranacook was able to grind out a solid win over Maine Central Institute in their previous meeting back in December of 2023, winning 62-55. The rematch might be a little tougher for Maranacook since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
