Soccer Recap: Perryville Comes Up Short

Perryville was the 2-1 winner over Notre Dame when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Pirates fell 2-0 to the Bulldogs on Tuesday. Perryville have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Perryville's loss dropped their record down to 7-5. As for Notre Dame, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 7-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Perryville will challenge Hillsboro at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Hillsboro will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Perryville surely won't give up without a fight. As for Notre Dame, they will face off against Murphysboro at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
