Flag Football Recap: Skyline Takes a Loss

Skyline was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They received a blow as they fell 21-6 to the Casteel Colts.

Casteel's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Audrina Wenze- Atencio led the charge by picking up 105 receiving yards and a pair of TDs. The team also got some help courtesy of Skylar Choy, who threw for 141 yards and two touchdowns.

Skyline's defeat dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Casteel, the victory got them back to even at 5-5.

Coincidentally, Skyline and Casteel will both be playing Campo Verde the next time they take the field. The Colts will head out to face the Coyotes at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Coyotes will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
