Elkhorn South faced Millard North in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Storm sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over the Mustangs. For Elkhorn South, this counts as revenge for the 3-1 win Millard North walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2022.

Blu Keiper was the driving force of Elkhorn South's attack as she scored both of Elkhorn South's goals, bringing her season total up to nine goals.

The victory made it two in a row for Elkhorn South and bumps their season record up to 8-2. As for Millard North, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 6-3.
