Football Recap: McArthur Takes a Loss

McArthur was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 12-0 to the Cooper City Cowboys. If the Mustangs were looking for revenge after losing 18-0 to the Cowboys when the teams met back in March of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

McArthur's loss dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Cooper City, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-9.

McArthur will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Fort Lauderdale at 4:30 p.m. on April 2nd. As for Cooper City, they will head out to square off against West Broward at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Cooper City's offense hasn't had much luck over their past six matchups, but Wednesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.
