            Baseball Recap: Greenup County Musketeers vs. DeSales Colts        
        
		
        
        
            Greenup County's game  on Monday was a  loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them  on Tuesday. They walked away with  a   7-3  win over the DeSales Colts. The  victory was a breath of fresh air for the Musketeers as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

 Hunter Holbrook was a major factor no matter where he played. He  tossed six innings while giving up just two earned runs off   three  hits. He has become a key player for Greenup County: the team is 2-1 when he allows at  most  three  earned runs, but 3-4 otherwise. Holbrook was also big at the plate,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while going 3-for-3.
 In other batting news,  Kasey Gammon was  excellent,  scoring a  run and  stealing a base while going 1-for-3. What's more,  he posted two  RBI, the most he's  had since back in April of 2024.  Luke Boggs was another key player,  going 1-for-3 with one  triple, one  run,  and one  RBI.
The  win  got Greenup County back to even at 5-5. As for DeSales, they dropped their record down to 7-5 with the  defeat, which was their third straight  at home.
 Coming up, Greenup County will face off against Montini Catholic at 4:00  p.m.  on Thursday. As for DeSales, they will host Doss  at 5:30  p.m.  on Monday. DeSales is facing Doss at the right time seeing as Doss is stuck on  a  three-game losing streak.
