Basketball Recap: Appleton West Victorious

It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Appleton West ultimately got the result they hoped for on Saturday. They walked away with a 74-62 win over the Indian Trail Hawks.

Despite the loss, Indian Trail still got an impressive performance from Silas Bolton, who dropped a double-double with 27 points and 13 rebounds. Bolton's afternoon made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least 19 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Josiah Lindsey, who went 6 for 12 on his way to 15 points.

Appleton West's victory bumped their record up to 2-14. As for Indian Trail, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-15.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Appleton West will host Green Bay West at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Indian Trail, it'll be a Battle of the Birds when the Hawks take on the Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
