Baseball Recap: Havelock Comes Up Short

Havelock was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 8-1 to the South Central Falcons. If the Rams were looking for revenge after losing 14-0 to the Falcons when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Havelock saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Micheal Kurtz, who went 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Havelock's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for South Central, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 4-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Havelock will take on West Craven at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for South Central, they will host D.H. Conley at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
