Volleyball Recap: DeKalb Barons vs. Bellmont Braves
It was a good run, but DeKalb unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Thursday. They lost 3-0 to the Bellmont Braves. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Barons of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2023.

Bellmont was led to victory by Katie Mills and Lilly Selking. Mills had 13 digs and two aces, while Selking had two aces and 13 assists. Selking is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 13 or more in the last three games she's played.
DeKalb's defeat ended a seven-game streak of away wins and brought them to 17-7. As for Bellmont, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 21-7.
