Softball Recap: Jackson Takes a Loss

Jackson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 24-3 to the Miami Stingarees. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Stingarees this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 25-5 two weeks ago.

Jackson's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4-1. As for Miami, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-4-1.

Looking ahead, Jackson will welcome Miami Springs at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Generals' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Golden Hawks have averaged an impressive 10.2 runs per game this season. As for Miami, they will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against Dr. Krop at 3:30 p.m.
