Softball Recap: Edgewater Comes Up Short

Edgewater was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 29th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 23-10 to Legacy Charter. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Legacy Charter this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 20-0 back in February.

Edgewater's defeat dropped their record down to 0-14. As for Legacy Charter, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-6.

Coming up, Edgewater will square off against East River at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Falcons will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something the Eagles surely won't give up without a fight. As for Legacy Charter, they will venture away from home to face off against Real Life Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Eagles' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Raptors have averaged an impressive 15.8 runs per game this season.
