Basketball Recap: Monticello Takes a Loss

Monticello lost against Cassville back in February of 2019 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Monticello Ponies fell 43-34 to the Cassville Comets.

Monticello has also been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last 11 matchups, which has put a noticeable dent in their 7-13 record this season. As for Cassville, their record now sits at 6-11.

Monticello didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 36-33 defeat against Black Hawk on the 10th. As for Cassville, they have also already played their next game, a 57-55 loss against Belmont on the 10th.
