Soccer Recap: Hudson Falls Comes Up Short

Hudson Falls was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They came up short against the Schuylerville Horses, falling 8-0. While losing is never fun, Hudson Falls can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York soccer rankings (they are ranked 522nd, while Schuylerville are ranked 208th).

Hudson Falls' loss dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Schuylerville, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-4-2 record this season.

Hudson Falls will square off against Gloversville at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Hudson Falls will be up against Gloversville's rather soft defense (which has allowed 8.8 goals per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. Schuylerville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
