Volleyball Recap: Dothan's Victory on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Dothan waltzed into their contest on Saturday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They came out on top against the Ariton Purple Cats by a score of 2-0. This was payback for the Wolves, who suffered a 3-2 defeat the last time these two teams met.

While Dothan won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-16.

Dothan's win bumped their record up to 15-6. As for Ariton, their loss dropped their record down to 10-5.

Dothan has already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Houston Academy on the 20th. As for Ariton, they will square off against Wicksburg at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
