Softball Recap: Salinas Cowboys vs. Vacaville Bulldogs
It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Salinas ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They beat the Vacaville Bulldogs by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 3-2. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Cowboys.

Abi Jones looked comfortable as she struck out six batters over 3.1 innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits (and not a single walk). She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in nine consecutive appearances.
