Cocoa Beach posted their biggest victory since December 6, 2024 on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Halifax Academy Knights 61-30. The contest was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Minutemen had established a 29 point advantage.

Max Louis had an outrageously good game as he went 8 for 10 en route to 19 points and eight rebounds. Jayesiah Carr was another key player, putting up eight points and six boards.

Cocoa Beach smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 16 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 11 offensive rebounds in four consecutive matches.

Cocoa Beach has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a massive bump to their 10-13 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.3 points per game. As for Halifax Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-6.

Cocoa Beach will look to defend their home court on Monday against Titusville at 7:00 p.m. As for Halifax Academy, they will head out on the road to square off against River City Science Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
