Softball Recap: Maplewood Comes Up Short

Maplewood lost to Martin Luther King Jr. Magnet two weeks ago and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Panthers lost 17-1 to the Royals. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Maplewood's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Martin Luther King Jr. Magnet, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-9-1 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Maplewood will face off against rival Glencliff at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Martin Luther King Jr. Magnet is set to take on their familiar foe Hume-Fogg at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
