Baseball Recap: Eagle Takes a Loss

Eagle had lost three straight on the road, but on Thursday they dropped their record down to 13-10 to make it four. They took a 7-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mountain View Mavericks. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Mavericks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 12-1 last Thursday.

Eagle saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Dallin Snooks, who went 2-for-3 with two triples.

As for Mountain View, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-8 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games.

On Mountain View's side, Seth Hecox was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one double, and one RBI. Cooper Schneidt was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two RBI.

As of now, neither Eagle nor Mountain View have any future games scheduled.
