McQueen is 9-1 against Carson since March of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Lancers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Senators at 3:45 p.m. The timing is sure in McQueen's favor as the squad sits on three straight wins at home while Carson has been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road.
McQueen is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Nevada's top teams: Galena, who was ranked 23rd at the time (McQueen was ranked 14th). The Lancers had just enough and edged out the Grizzlies 11-9.
Violet Moyao made a splash no matter where she played. She tossed 4.1 innings while giving up just one earned (and four unearned) runs off eight hits. McQueen is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-11 record this season. Thursday's contest will be a test for both teams' pitchers. McQueen hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .334.
