Basketball Recap: Eagle Point Takes a Loss

Eagle Point had to start their season on the road on Thursday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They fell to the Woodland Christian Cardinals 58-52.

Romello Bruhn went supernova for Woodland Christian, dropping a double-double on 33 points and ten steals. The matchup was Bruhn's 29th in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Malakai Baker, who posted 12 points and six steals.

The victory got Woodland Christian back to even at 1-1.

Eagle Point didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 57-33 win against Ferndale on the 6th. As for Woodland Christian, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 70-44 loss against McKinleyville on the 6th.
