Volleyball Recap: Palisades Wins Going Away Against Rocky River + How To Watch

Palisades had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Rocky River on Tuesday. The Pumas blew past the Ravens 3-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Palisades was: they took every set by at least 11 points. The final score came out to 25-10, 25-14, 25-14.

Among those leading the charge was Alyssa Moreno, who had seven digs and four aces. Those four aces gave her a new career-high. Kyah Montgomery also deserves some recognition as she served her first aces of the season.

They weren't the only good servers: Palisades was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 20 aces. That's the most aces they've managed all season.

Palisades' record now sits at 12-9. As for Rocky River, their defeat was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-13.
