Basketball Recap: ED White Comes Up Short

ED White lost against Ribault back in December of 2022 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The ED White Commanders had to suffer through a 85-42 loss at the hands of the Ribault Trojans. While losing is never fun, the Commanders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 426th, while the Trojans are ranked 40th).

Kaden Toure continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Ribault, going 12 for 16 on his way to 29 points. Those 29 points gave Toure a new career-high. Kaleb McDuffie was another key player, putting up ten points in addition to five assists and three steals.

ED White moved to 9-11 with that loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak. As for Ribault, they pushed their record up to 17-6 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

ED White has already played their next match (against Riverside), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Ribault has already played their next contest, a 68-65 defeat against Ponte Vedra on the 31st.
