Softball Game Preview: Ingram Moore Warriors vs. Brady Bulldogs

The Ingram Moore Warriors will square off against the Brady Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Ingram Moore came up short against Blanco on Tuesday, falling 32-9. The Warriors have struggled against the Panthers recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

Jaycee Crawley was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. She is also on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Priscilla Cancino, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Crawley wasn't the only one working in the hit department: Ingram Moore kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That's a new trend for Ingram Moore: they were averaging 5 hits per game earlier this season, but in their last 15 matchups they've averaged 12.8.

Meanwhile, Brady was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They lost 15-6 to Comfort.

Brady's defeat dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Ingram Moore, their loss dropped their record down to 6-11.

Ingram Moore took their victory against Brady when the teams last played back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 7-1. Will Ingram Moore repeat their success, or does Brady has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
