Volleyball Game Preview: Gray-New Gloucester Patriots vs. Wells Warriors + How To Watch

After both having extra time off, the Gray-New Gloucester Patriots and the Wells Warriors will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Wells took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Gray-New Gloucester, who comes in off a win.

On Thursday, Gray-New Gloucester earned a 3-1 victory over North Yarmouth Academy.

Gray-New Gloucester was especially dominant in the third set. The final score came out to 25-17, 17-25, 25-15, 25-19.

Meanwhile, Wells didn't have quite enough to beat Cape Elizabeth on Thursday and fell 3-2. The Warriors have struggled against the Capers recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.

Wells wouldn't go down easily and took Cape Elizabeth into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking three-point loss. The match finished with set scores of 23-25, 25-18, 25-10, 17-25, 15-12.

Gray-New Gloucester will have to contain Mila Mustacka as she made an impact in Wells' last game. She had 19 digs. Another player making a difference was Autumn Leslie, who had 17 assists and 16 digs.

Gray-New Gloucester's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for Wells, their loss dropped their record down to 4-7.
