Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Stem Preparatory Academy, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. Their defense stepped up to hand KIPP Global a 5-0 shutout on Friday. The result was nothing new for Stem Preparatory Academy, who have now won four contests by three goals or more so far this season.

Stem Preparatory Academy pushed their record up to 6-1 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 11 goals over those three games. As for Independence Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 4-1.
