Basketball Recap: Mt. Pleasant Wins Going Away Against Fairfield

The third road match was the charm for Mt. Pleasant, as they earned their first road win of the season. They blew past the Fairfield Trojans 50-30 on Friday. That's more bragging rights for the Panthers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Mt. Pleasant's win was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 3-8. As for Fairfield, they dropped their record down to 0-10 with the defeat, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season.

Mt. Pleasant will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Danville at 7:00 p.m. on January 20th. As for Fairfield, they will head out to square off against Van Buren County at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
