Volleyball Game Preview: Mount View Golden Knights vs. Greater Beckley Christian Crusaders

After both having extra time off, the Mount View Golden Knights and the Greater Beckley Christian Crusaders will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Mount View will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.

On Tuesday, Mount View earned a 3-1 win over Summers County.

The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-14, 17-25, 25-16.

Meanwhile, Greater Beckley Christian came up short against Calvary Baptist Academy on Monday and fell 2-0. The Crusaders have struggled against the Patriots recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

The final score came out to 25-8, 25-12.

Greater Beckley Christian's loss dropped their record down to 8-14-1. As for Mount View, their victory bumped their record up to 21-1.

Mount View was able to grind out a solid win over Greater Beckley Christian in their previous meeting back in September, winning 2-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Golden Knights since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
