Soccer Recap: First Baptist Academy Wins Going Away Against Babcock

The First Baptist Academy Lions made easy work of the Babcock Trailblazers on Monday and carried off a 9-1 victory. With First Baptist Academy ahead 4-0 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.

Their offense was hitting Babcock from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Matthew Faris led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for three goals all by himself.

First Baptist Academy now has a winning record of 1-0-1. As for Babcock, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-3.

Looking ahead, First Baptist Academy will head out to take on Southwest Florida Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Babcock, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Evangelical Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
