Volleyball Preview: Hesperia Scorpions vs. Sultana Sultans        
        
		
             Hesperia and Sultana are an even 5-5 against one another  since September of 2018, but  not for long. The Hesperia Scorpions will head out to  square off against the Sultana Sultans  at 5:15  p.m.  on Thursday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.
 Hesperia took a loss when they played away from home  on Thursday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed  on Tuesday. They blew past Apple Valley 3-0.
 The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-17,  25-18.
 Hesperia relied on the efforts of   Dylanna Akwaboah, who  had 13  digs, a  kill,  and 34  assists, and   Jayda Del Real, who  had ten  digs. Akwaboah is  on a roll when it comes to  assists, as she's  now  posted 16 or more in the last seven games she's  played.
 Meanwhile, Sultana posted their biggest  victory since September 17th on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Serrano with a sharp  3-0 win. The  victory made it back-to-back  wins for the Sultans.
 While Sultana won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the  second set they played. The final score came out to 25-20, 26-24,  25-15.
 Hesperia's victory bumped their record up to 19-9. As for Sultana, they are  on a roll lately: they've  won three of their last four matches,  which provided a nice bump to their 15-11 record  this season.
 Hesperia might still be hurting after the  3-0 loss they got from Sultana  when the teams last played  two weeks ago. Can Hesperia avenge their  defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
