Basketball Recap: Twin River Comes Up Short

Twin River played a tough match on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were outmatched by the Howells-Dodge Jaguars and fell 58-28. The contest marked the Titans' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Howells-Dodge's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jade Bayer, who posted 11 points. Bayer continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Jordyn Ratzlaff, who had 11 points and five steals.

This is the second loss in a row for Twin River and nudges their season record down to 12-9. As for Howells-Dodge, their victory was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-7.

Coming up, Twin River will welcome Humphrey-Lindsay at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Howells-Dodge, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Jaguars face off against the Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
