Baseball Game Preview: Harlandale Indians vs. Southside Cardinals

The Harlandale Indians will head out on the road to face off against the Southside Cardinals at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Harlandale is coming into the contest on a six-game losing streak.

Harlandale couldn't beat Jay on Friday even though they stacked six runs on them in the fifth inning. The Indians fell just short of the Mustangs by a score of 7-6. That's two games in a row now that the Indians have lost by just one run.

Harlandale saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ismael Alvarez, who went 1-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Southside didn't have quite enough to beat MacArthur on Friday and fell 4-3.

Southside has also been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-13 record this season. As for Harlandale, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-18.
