Soccer Recap: Anderson County Comes Up Short

The Mavericks took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Yellowjackets. Having soared to a lofty four goals in the game before, Anderson County's shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Anderson County's loss dropped their record down to 3-5-1. As for Roane County, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-5.

Looking ahead, Anderson County will challenge Union County at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Anderson County will be up against Union County's rather soft defense (which has allowed 4.38 goals per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
