Flag Football Recap: Western Christian Find Success

Western Christian posted their closest win since August 16th on Friday. They slipped by the McClatchy Lions 12-11. The victory was all the more spectacular given the Fighting Lancers' disadvantage in MaxPreps' California flag football rankings (they are ranked 95th, while the Lions are ranked seventh).

Western Christian's win bumped their record up to 12-6. As for McClatchy, they moved to 13-2 with that loss, which also ended their eight-game winning streak.

Western Christian wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 20-12 defeat against Etiwanda on the 27th. As for McClatchy, they have also already played their next contest, a 34-28 loss against Camarillo on the 27th.
