Softball Recap: Cornerstone Charter Sets Scoring Season-High Against Leadership Academy

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Cornerstone Charter). They put the hurt on the Leadership Academy Falcons with a sharp 28-18 victory on Thursday. That's the fifth time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 11-6 victory on Tuesday.

Evelyn Croatt was incredible, firing off two home runs, seven RBI, and three runs while going 5-for-7. Those seven RBI gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Delaney Hollern, who went 3-for-7 with four runs, five RBI, and three doubles.

They weren't the only ones working in the home run department: Cornerstone Charter lost a few balls and finished the game with two home runs. They are a perfect 3-0 when they post two or more home runs.

Cornerstone Charter's record now sits at 7-12. As for Leadership Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-8.

As of now, neither Cornerstone Charter nor the Falcons have any future games scheduled.
