Volleyball Recap: El Capitan Takes a Loss + How To Watch

El Capitan was the 3-0 winner over San Pasqual when they last played one another back in September of 2019, but their luck changed this time around. The Vaqueros fell 3-1 to the Golden Eagles on Tuesday.

The loss didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: San Pasqual scored at least 17 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 19-25, 25-21, 25-22.

San Pasqual got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Carianne Blodgett out in front who had 11 digs and two aces.

El Capitan has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-4 record this season. As for San Pasqual, they pushed their record up to 2-0 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season.

El Capitan has already played their next game (against Steele Canyon), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for San Pasqual, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Maranatha Christian on the 28th.
