Softball Game Preview: Somerset Tech Jaguars vs. New Brunswick Zebra

The Somerset Tech Jaguars will venture away from home to face off against the New Brunswick Zebra at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Somerset Tech lost 21-13 to Dunellen on Wednesday. The Jaguars haven't had much luck with the Destroyers recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Meanwhile, New Brunswick got the win against Piscataway Vo-Tech on Monday by a conclusive 18-3.

Diana Martinez was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing six bases while going 3-for-3. Another player making a difference was Libni Ester Gijon, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-2.

New Brunswick now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Somerset Tech, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.
