Volleyball Recap: Tri County's Win Ends Four-Game Losing Streak on the Road

Tri County won the last time they faced Wilber-Clatonia and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Trojans put the hurt on the Wolverines with a sharp 3-0 win. The Trojans not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since September 11th (when they won 3-0).

The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-14, 25-21.

Kenzi Scherling was the offensive standout of the matchup as she had 14 digs and one assist. Those 14 digs gave her a new career-high. Emily Wood also deserves some recognition as she served her first ace of the season.

Tri County was lethal from the service line and finished the match with ten aces. That's the most aces they've managed all season.

Tri County's victory ended a four-match drought on the road and puts them at 15-10. As for Wilber-Clatonia, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-18.

Looking ahead, Tri County will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Freeman at 7:00 p.m. As for Wilber-Clatonia, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Fairbury on the 21st.
