Soccer Recap: Friday's Victory Is Hewitt-Trussville's Fifth in Last Six Outings

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Oak Mountain, Hewitt-Trussville was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They never let the Gardendale Rockets get on the board and left with a 4-0 win. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Huskies considering their one-goal performance the match before.

Hewitt-Trussville has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 18 goals over those six games. Gardendale's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-2.

Hewitt-Trussville has already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Pike Road on the 8th. As for Gardendale, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 4-2 defeat against Chelsea on the 11th.
