League recap: Hopkinton runs winning streak to 11

Tri-Valley's longest active winning streak belongs to Hopkinton (16-5, 15-3), undefeated over its last 11 games. In the past week, the Hillers won another four games, including a 3-1 victory over Natick.

Behind a 2-1 record over the past week, Norton made the biggest jump in the Massachusetts state rankings, all the way from 194 to 166.

The Lancers boasted the best pitching over the past week, holding opponents to the league's fewest hits and issuing the fewest walks. On the season, Norton has allowed just 131 hits, while striking out 112 batters. Luke Potvin leads Norton with 27 strikeouts in 30 innings pitched.
