Volleyball Recap: Lawrence County Takes a Loss

Lawrence County suffered their biggest loss since October 9th on Wednesday. They came up short against the John Carroll Catholic Cavaliers, falling 3-0. The Red Devils have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Alivia Templeton paced Lawrence County's offense, picking up nine kills. Templeton got some help from Ava Templeton and her 20 assists. Ava also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Emily Byars, each putting up two.

Lawrence County's defeat dropped their record down to 25-31. As for John Carroll Catholic, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-12 record this season.

As of now, neither Lawrence County nor John Carroll Catholic have any future games scheduled.
